Disco Glister

January 20, 2016 § Leave a comment

A glistering cold morning.

I saw the sun rise in a polka dot of neon pink, turning frost-sparkled trees to disco.

It took me a good 10 minutes to scrape down the crystalised glass so I could see my way.

Ferns of ice still adorned me as I moused along the silky roads and I wondered at the beauty of something that tries to kill me, fling me into frozen ditches to die.
