On Imagination

Slow writing exercise:

In the beginning (the very, very beginning), there was little more than a quiet whisper of an idea.

Starting with a tiny bud of slowly unfurling thought, then blooming stealthily into shocking blossoms.

Oh, the smell of those thoughts – the dusky scent of imagination stirred and fires being lit.

In the beginning though, it was just a whisper of what it would become.

0.01% of a manifesto, an embryo of adventure, a droplet in the vast sea of dreams that washes good intentions away.

But that dream grew and grasped and ground into the minds of its believers, and it rose to become a change that would shake the very foundations of the world.

Brain kicked into gear: go do one yourself!
